“I recently finished reading Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke. I would like to personally thank Theresa for sharing so much of her personal life in this fabulous book. I know the book will help many others, even in ways she did not intend. As an example, I often help myself by helping others help themselves, but to this point, I rarely divulge many (if any) of my past struggles. Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke has challenged me to include personal tales of my struggles when mentoring others. I look forward to part 2 (Book 2).”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the book “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke. I thought Theresa was really candid in exposing the personal details that led to her filing bankruptcy. I also feel that she totally debunked the myth that the average person who files bankruptcy is irresponsible with their money, since she was the complete opposite. What I took away from the book is A) if you make something a god (like Theresa did with her credit score), God will take it away from you to show you that He is the only God you should worship and B) Follow God’s leading; He will never steer you wrong and you can avoid lots of trouble and heartache if you do so. Excellent reading! I highly recommend this book to everyone whether you have ever filed bankruptcy or not.”

“Theresa is a very talented writer as her words talked and really jumped out of the pages of this educational yet story like book. I have not experienced a bankruptcy but from this valuable resource of Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke that Theresa has given the world, I know I will be ready to assist myself or even a friend, if ever we were to go through the same thing. I look forward to read plenty more of her books in the years to come.”

“The book, “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke” is both an informative and an inspiring story. Theresa takes you on her journey through bankruptcy, the trials and the lessons learned. It is a must-read in today’s troubled times. It turns out bankruptcy doesn’t have to define who you are, but can instead be a vehicle for true soul searching and spiritual growth.”

The book, “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke” is an illuminating look into the heart, soul, and spirit of its author, Theresa Royal. It reads like an old friend advising you on how to handle potentially life shattering situations. It is personal, insightful, compelling, and believe it or not uplifting. The “Life Lessons Learned” section at the end of each chapter drives home the lessons being taught. It is a must read even if you are not going through bankruptcy, because is about life, and how we, as humans, must change to survive and grow.”

“Open, honest and compelling, these are the words that describe “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke”. It is sometimes very difficult to recognize the role we play in creating a set of unintended circumstances. Ms. Royal addressed this subject with dignity and grace… as it was grace that guided her hand in writing this very informative book. A sequel is required so that we can accompany her on the journey toward healing and greater understanding.”

“As a financial coach and a fellow author, I want to let everyone know how important the message in this book is. Many people in these current economic times are feeling vulnerable and worthless because of some of the scary decisions they need to make. Theresa’s book made me laugh and cry for her as she told her story that led her down this path. I have already recommended this book to some of my clients who are feeling the pressure of bankruptcy. With Theresa’s book “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke” and my book “If I won 25 Million Dollars in the Lottery” the people will be armed to face this new economy. God bless and good luck!”

“I recently read “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke” this past Christmas. All I can say is WOW! For a person to have gone through what Theresa went through and still remain standing, speaks volume about her character, determination, resilience and perseverance. Theresa wrote the book as if I was going through the pain, and I felt her highs and lows in life while reading this book. This book will not only make you take a second look at who you partner and do business with, but also make you think about what you’re really putting first and foremost in your life. I would highly recommend this book for anyone that has ever experienced any personal or financial setbacks in their life and are considering bankruptcy. It’s a book for any experienced or novice entrepreneur that can relate to having the unfortunate dealings with or offering services to an unethical client, and how you can still keep on going even in the midst of the storm. Kudos To-Theresa Royal!”

“Wow! Talk about clearing out the cobwebs of confusion and telling it like it is! Theresa Royal’s book “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke”, gives you an understanding of the process from a “real-life” person’s perspective. This book was down to earth and she makes the process easy to understand and also makes you laugh and cry. I also liked that it was easy to understand, witty and you actually felt as though you were sitting down and talking to her across the table. I would recommend this book to everyone, even if you are in great financial shape. Theresa helps you prevent bankruptcy and think about your life decisions. I would like to thank Theresa Royal for taking us through this process and shedding light on the real bankruptcy experience!”

“I must say, I enjoyed reading the book, “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke”. I am glad Theresa was honest, open, and didn’t try to sugarcoat anything. If she would have attempted to hold back any information, I think the reader would not have fully understood her situation and would have raised many questions about why she printed this book. However, her story was very heartfelt and many people will be able to relate. Some of the things that happened to her I would have handled differently, others I don’t know what I would have done. I can understand why suicide became her answer to get away from it all. I consider myself a strong person, but after reading her book, I don’t know what I would have done if placed in the same situation. It’s one of those things you will never fully understand unless you been through it. Theresa also wrote a chapter on the “Myths of Bankruptcy” which I felt was right on point. Many people think it is an awful thing to file bankruptcy; however, having a bankruptcy on your credit report isn’t as bad as one may think. I recommend this book to the entire country to read; it is just that powerful.”

As I read the book, “Bankruptcy Ain’t Broke”, I remember all the feelings and situations in my previous marriage that were about bankruptcy. Many years ago (over 25), I lost a house because my ex-husband didn’t want to declare bankruptcy. Theresa‘s book “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke” took me back to a time where I also contemplated why should I keep living if life doesn’t get better. I thank Theresa for her transparency. I know that it was hard and probably is still just as hard. I really applaud her courage because of what is going on in these tough economic times; others will now know that their lives are not over. Declaring bankruptcy brings to many a ray of hope and they will realize that there is new life after bankruptcy. If you only learn one thing from this book, let that one thing be “Trust in the Lord and let him guide your path”. In addition, to those who have never declared bankruptcy or think it is impossible to happen to them, read this book and learn that we should never say never.

When I begin reading “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke” by Ms. Theresa Royal I was initially surprised, then in awe, and finally honored. I was surprised because even though the title suggests failure, the book is filled with hope and faith. In awe of the courage and strength in the character of Theresa to be willing to share the innermost fears and doubts the rest of us will do anything to keep hidden–even from ourselves. Finally, I am honored to know such a young, talented, beautiful and blessed “Sista.” Professionally speaking, this is a unique and honest view of this extraordinary legal process. The advice on how to approach the process emotionally and legally is invaluable. And the most important statement–not just financially but spiritually–is in the title “Bankruptcy “Ain’t” Broke”. Thank you Theresa Royal!”
